Partial-Fill Quantity Reconciliation
Find how much of a requested order is filled, confirmed cancelled or still unaccounted for.
A hypothetical request for 10 base units has fills of 3 units at 100 USD and 2 at 101 USD. The file accounts for 5 filled units, a 50% filled share and a weighted average of 100.4 USD per base. With no confirmed cancellation, the open remainder is 5 units.
What this helps you check
An order can produce several executions before its requested quantity is complete. This worksheet adds distinct fill records, calculates their weighted average price, and reconciles filled plus explicitly confirmed cancelled quantity against the original request. An unaccounted remainder stays visible.
Open remainder is the amount not accounted for by these supplied fills and confirmed cancellation. It is not a live venue order status. The tool rejects a file where filled plus confirmed cancelled exceeds the request instead of showing a misleading negative remainder.

How the worksheet works
- Fills require distinct fill IDs and positive quantities/prices.
- filled=sum(quantity); open=requested_quantity-filled-confirmed_cancelled.
- Reject filled+confirmed_cancelled>requested_quantity.
- coverage_pct=100*filled/requested_quantity; average_fill=sum(quantity*price)/filled.
Open remainder is the amount not accounted for by these supplied fills and confirmed cancellation. It is not a live venue order status. The tool rejects a file where filled plus confirmed cancelled exceeds the request instead of showing a misleading negative remainder.
Boundaries to keep in view
- A cancellation request is not a confirmed cancellation.
- Do not assume partial quantity cancellation on venues that do not support it.
- Average price is secondary to completeness, and no position-entry or exit R calculation is supplied.

Partial-fill review depends on distinguishing order identity from execution identity and on having a complete record range. Provider order explanations, exports and manual worksheets can support reconciliation in different ways.
